Downloading Files on Mobile Devices and Mac OS
If you would like to download the mp3 on a mobile device and you aren’t working, it could be for the following reasons:
1. Having trouble “right clicking?
Most mobile operating systems use “long press” instead of a “right click”. This is true for iOS and for Android.
Google Chrome (on mobile) – long press, and “Download link” OR click (it will open and begin playing), then press the three dots to the right of the player and select ‘download’
Mozilla Firefox (on mobile) – Firefox doesn’t allow download by default but you can “open with an app” and open with an MP3 player like poweramp or VLC in order to get the download started. Depending on the app, it may allow the file to be pre-downloaded or allow more compatibility and options, including equalization.
Safari (on mobile iOS) – this article may help depending on your iOS version. Version 12 and lower require a 3rd party app to download files.
Other Browsers (on android) – There are other browsers that may be default on branded devices. Most probably have the functionality described for either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If not, we recommend installing one of the above.
