Dissolved Circles

Dance Leadership Circle

Dissolved 2015.08.05

Aim: The Dance Leadership Circle meets regularly with open membership to guide and develop AMC Facilitators, and create and implement guidelines for dance gatherings.
Functional Leader: Events Coordinator

The Dance Leadership Circle was dissolved on August 5, 2015 by consent of the Core Circle as a proposal recommendation from the Dance Leadership Circle. As part of the proposal, the Board Circle's dance wave facilitator expert will be elected by Team AMC.

This circle was dissolved primarily as response to a long-term lack of participation and feedback from dancers about the meeting format. The Dancers' Gathering was created as a less-structured forum for dancers to participate in governance. Additional pathways for participation include guest terms on Team AMC and Core Circle.

Thrive Circle

Dissolved 2015.01.28

Aim: To leverage AMC resources to grow, support, and sustain AMC’s “thriveability” and plan AMC's annual community meeting.
Functional Leader: Executive Treasurer

The Thrive Circle was dissolved on January 1, 2015 by consent of the Core Circle as a proposal recommendation from the Thrive Circle. As part of the proposal, the Board Circle was asked to take on the planning of AMC's annual community meeting. In addition, the Core Circle will plan an annual open meeting to review AMC's finances.
