Sundays: Asheville Masonic Temple
First Wave: 8:30 am warm up, 9am circleThis is the first of two waves offered each Sunday. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for warmup and opening circle is 9 a.m. The outside doors will be closed at 9 a.m. to preserve the intimacy and safety of the dance. Arrivals after 9 a.m. are welcome to join us for our Sunday afternoon wave. This dance ends by 10:30 a.m. Dance ends by 10:30 am
Second Wave: 10:30 am warmup, 11 am circle
The outside doors will be closed at 11 a.m. and will open again after the circle has been opened. At this time the facilitator will explain our guidelines, open the circle, and the dance begins. We strongly encourage you to arrive for the opening circle! Dance ends by 12:30.
Free childcare is provided during the second wave. Attended children are welcome in the dance.

Directions from 240 traveling East toward downtown:
- Take the Amboy Rd exit
- Stay on Amboy Rd until it ends
- Turn left onto Lyman St
- Pass Riverview Station on your R
- Take the immediate first R onto Old Lyman St
- Old Lyman will appear to end... it doesn't, turn right & follow the signs to Studio Terpsicorps
- The road will curve around and go over some old tracks
- Follow it until it ends at a large red & beige warehouse
- Enter through the front door and walk straight ahead to the Neal G. Dance Studio
- Take the 19/23 exit towards UNCA
- Stay in the right lane and get off on Hill St
- Take a L at the bottom of the exit
- Take a L onto Riverside Dr
- Stay Riverside until it ends
- Turn right onto Lyman St
- Turn left onto Old Lyman St just before you get to Riverview Station (if you get to Amboy you've gone too far)
- Old Lyman will appear to end... it doesn't, turn right & follow the signs to Studio Terpsicorps
- The road will curve around and go over some old tracks
- Follow it until it ends at a large red & beige warehouse
- Enter through the front door and walk straight ahead to the Neal G. Dance Studio
- Going towards downtown on Biltmore from the village, take a L on Meadow Rd (by El Chapala)
- Pass Amboy Rd on your left, Meadow Rd is now Lyman St
- Pass Riverview Station on your right
- Take the immediate first right onto Old Lyman St
- Old Lyman will appear to end... it doesn't, turn right & follow the signs to Studio Terpsicorps
- The road will curve around and go over some old tracks
- Follow it until it ends at a large red & beige warehouse
- Enter through the front door and walk straight ahead to the Neal G. Dance Studio
- Coming from the Orange Peel on Hilliard, go past Lexington, Asheland and S French Broad
- Take a left onto Clingman
- Take a left to stay on Clingman, before you get to the Grey Eagle
- Take a right onto Lyman St
- Go over the tracks & stay on Lyman as it curves to the left
- Turn left onto Old Lyman St just before you get to Riverview Station (if you get to Amboy you've gone too far)
- Old Lyman will appear to end... it doesn't, turn right & follow the signs to Studio Terpsicorps
- The road will curve around and go over some old tracks
- Follow it until it ends at a large red & beige warehouse
- Enter through the front door and walk straight ahead to the Neal G. Dance Studio

AMC dances at Terpsicorps Studio every Friday! If you haven't been to Terpsicorps, it's in the River Arts District on Old Lyman Road between 12 Bones Smokehouse and Amboy Road.
The River Arts District is a developing area of downtown Asheville and Old Lyman Street includes some unpaved sections. Though unpaved, the road to Terpsicorps has recently been leveled and is much easier to navigate.

Asheville Masonic Temple ParkingParking is available in the HomeTrust Banking parking lot across from the Temple or along Woodfin, Broadway, Chestnut, and N Market streets. City of Asheville on-street parking is free on Sundays and you do not need to put money in the parking meters. Please park only in marked spots! Many downtown vendors have a towing contract in effect all week.
Parking is also available in the lot adjacent to the Temple for $1/hour and AMC has a limited number of passes available to provide parking for handicapped access.
What happened to Thursdays at Sol's Reprieve? Our final Thursday at Sol's Reprieve was Feb 28, 2013. Sol's was a wonderful home for many years and it will always hold space in our hearts. We'll always have the latest event information on our website, and announce any schedule changes in our newsletter.
